Families, friends, and community members gathered Tuesday evening, April 28, at 6:00 p.m. for the Charlton FFA Sweetheart Pageant, held at the Folkston Elementary School gymnasium in Folkston. The annual event, hosted by Charlton FFA, brought together participants from across the county for a night celebrating poise, confidence, and community spirit. The pageant featured six age divisions, welcoming contestants from infancy through high school seniors. Each participant took the stage dressed in formal attire, showcasing personality and stage presence while competing for top honors in their respective categories. At the conclusion of the event, winners were announced for each division. Briana Knowles was crowned Miss Sweetheart, earning the top title of the evening. Kyla Thompson was named Teen Miss, while Jena Lee took home the Junior Miss crown. In the younger divisions, Averly Powell was named Little Miss, Emeline Williams received the title of Tiny Miss, and Lynnox Prescott was crowned Baby Miss. Organizers noted that the event continues to grow each year, offering local students an opportunity to build confidence and represent their community. Proceeds from the pageant support Charlton FFA programs and activities throughout the year. With a strong turnout and enthusiastic audience support, this year’s Sweetheart Pageant once again highlighted Charlton County pride and community involvement.
