Senior Maiden softball player signed her letter of intent last week to play college softball at Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon. Taylor was a key member of the Maiden softball team playing whatever position she was needed from pitcher, catcher or anywhere in the infield. Brewton-Parker is a member of the Southern States Athletic Conference and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

Several weeks ago, Indian senior baseball player Griffin Thomas announced his commitment to play college baseball at Andrew College in Cuthbert. Last week he made it official by signing his letter of intent. Thomas has been a key part of the Indian baseball program for four years now from either the shortstop position or on the mound. Andrew College is a member of the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association and the National Junior College Athletic Association.
