A new convenience arrived in Charlton County on Feb. 4 with the grand opening of Stow & Go Storage, located at 5567 Second Street in Folkston. The facility is owned by Folkston Holdings LLC, led by local business partners Corey Murrell and Danny Wheeler, who invested in bringing high-quality, secure, and accessible storage options to the community. Stow & Go Storage offers a modern approach to self-storage, featuring 90 climate-controlled units designed to protect belongings from heat and humidity, as well as 70 outdoor drive-up units ideal for storing larger items. The facility also features dedicated outdoor boat and RV storage, offering residents a secure year-round option for their recreational vehicles. With multiple unit sizes and competitive pricing, the facility is designed to serve families, businesses, and individuals with both short-term and long-term storage needs. “Our goal was to create a storage solution that truly fits the needs of Folkston,” Murrell said. “We wanted something clean, secure, and easy for customers to use on their own schedule.”
A standout feature of the facility is its fully self-serve online platform, which allows customers to browse available units, reserve space, and move in 24 hours a day, seven days a week, without the need for an appointment. The system is accessible through StowandGoFolkston.com and reflects the owners’ commitment to convenience and customer-first service. Security, reliability, and ease of use are central to the operation, the owners said. With Folkston’s continued growth and an increasing demand for storage, Stow & Go Storage aims to support residents, local businesses, and newcomers alike. “If anyone has any questions or needs help, we’re always available,” Wheeler said. “We want every customer to feel confident that their belongings are safe and their experience is smooth.” For more information, visit
