Charlton County Maiden basketball standout Christiona Farmer signed last week to continue her basketball career by signing with Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia. Farmer was an all-state selection and the Region 2-A Offensive Player of the Year last season as a senior leading the Maidens to the second round of the GHSA State Playoffs. As a senior Farmer averaged 22.2 points per game while adding three assists and three steals per game.

   Thomas University is a NAIA school that plays in the Southern States Athletic Conference.
