Lucille Cobb Davis, 75, of Folkston, Ga. passed away following a lengthy illness on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 21, 1950 to the late, Sammy and Eunice Gibbs-Cobb in Charlton County, Ga. Lucille was educated in the public school system of Folkston, Ga. and was a member of Mt. New Home Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed as a cook at most of her past employments which included Singletons Seafood in Tampa, Florida, at Tahiti Restaurant and at M & R Fried Chicken. Lucille enjoyed cooking and spending quality time with her family members, especially her grandchildren.
She  was preceded in death by both parents, Sammy and Eunice Cobb, her sisters, Barbara E. Cobb; her brothers, Jimmy L. Cobb and Sammy Cobb, Jr. , Willie Cobb and Leroy Snead and a great grandchild.
Those left to cherish  her memories: her children, Barbara A. Denise Kelley (Rodriguez), Tampa, Fl., Neal Lamar Kelly (Mary Ann), Folkston, Ga., Marie Ann Kelley, Folkston, Ga. and Frank Arthur Kelley III, Jacksonville, Fl.; (13) grandchildren; (35)great grandchildren; (1) great great grandchild; her sisters, Mae Alice Roberson (George), Linda Kay Cobb and Cheryl Whitley- Gordon, all of Folkston, Ga.; her brothers, Lee Andrew Jones, Folkston, Ga. and Eddie Cobb, Asbury Park, NJ and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
*There will NOT be a wake/visitation on Friday, April 03, 2026.
Remains will lie in repose on Saturday, April 04, 2026 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, the time of services.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 04, 2026 @ 11:00 am at Mt. New Home Missionary Baptist Church, 416 Dixie Lake Rd., Folkston, Ga. 31537
Interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
