Community members gathered at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 13, to celebrate the re-grand opening of Anytime Fitness in Folkston following recent renovations to the facility. The event, held at the gym’s location at 3658 S. Second St., was organized in partnership with the Charlton County Okefenokee Chamber of Commerce and welcomed residents to tour the newly remodeled gym, meet staff members, and learn about the updated fitness space designed to help members reach their health and wellness goals. The facility has recently undergone improvements aimed at enhancing the experience for both current members and those considering joining. Chamber officials said the refreshed space reflects the business’s commitment to providing a modern and welcoming environment for the community. During the celebration, attendees had the opportunity to explore the updated workout areas while enjoying food and participating in raffle prize drawings. Gift baskets and personal training sessions were among the items offered as giveaways during the event. To mark the occasion, the gym also announced a special re-grand opening promotion for new members. Individuals who sign up can join for $1 and receive their first two weeks free. The Chamber also used the event to welcome Anytime Fitness as one of its newest members, expressing support for the gym’s continued success in the local business community.
