Carlos Tremaine Stewart, 50, of Folkston, Ga. passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 17, 2026 following a brief illness. He was born on September 21, 1975 to the late, Clarence Stewart, Sr. and Gloria Stewart-Baker. Carlos was educated in the public school system of Charlton County. In his free time aside from his employment in construction with PPM Construction Company he enjoyed fishing ,spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and sitting under the tree with his Best friend “Two Five “ Carlos was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Stewart, Sr., his grandparents, Della Elmore and James Thomas, Jr. and his brothers, Derrick Williams and Victor Bennett. Those left to cherish his memory: his wife, Terri Armstrong-Stewart; his mother, Gloria (Howard ) Baker; his children, Jennifer (Cameron) Jardine, Christiana James, Carissa (Anthony ) White, Carlos James, Shaniyah Lewis and Nykiereia Stewart; his grandchildren, La’Kya Seymore, Kaiden Moore, Kevotis Peterson, Jr.,Forever White, Phoenix Jardine, and Lyle Jardine; his sister, Ashanti ( Brandon ) Harris and Gloria “Redd” Smith; his brother, Marcel Stewart; his close and special friend, Dawn James and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will truly miss his presence. There will NOT be a wake/visitation on Friday. Remains will lie in state one hour prior to services on Saturday. Funeral services will be held on Saturday , January 24, 2026 @ 2:00 PM at House of Faith, 3365 Paxton Road, Folkston, Ga. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Folkston, Ga.
