Wilma Jean Smith Wellner (8/30/2026)

Wilma Jean Smith Wellner, 94, of St. George, GA passed away at her home Sunday, August 30, 2026.  She was born November 27, 1931 in Weston, West Virginia to the late Orville J. Smith and Goldie Hefflin Smith.  She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Hilliard, FL.  She was the heart and soul of her family and will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Douglas Stanley Wellner, Sr.; a son:  Douglas Stanley Wellner, Jr.; 2-sisters:  Mildred Fox and Mary Tingos; and a brother:  James Smith.

She is survived by her children:  Debbie (Ringo) Cantillo and Tina Wellner; a daughter-in-law:  Guaria Wellner (Butch); 6-grandchildren; 4-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
