Laurel is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English. With strong ties to the community and a passion for storytelling, she is excited to bring important local stories to readers across Charlton County.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, sketching, and playing music. Her creative interests and love for her hometown help shape her unique perspective as a journalist.
