Williams shines bright for Sun in WNBA Finals despite loss

Former Charlton County Maiden Courtney Williams has turned up her play once the playoffs have begun and continued to shine bright for the Connecticut Sun despite falling to the Washington Mystics in a classic five game series. Williams averaged 17.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists during the playoffs, which included a sweep of the Los Angeles Sparks before falling to the Mystics in the finals. During the regular season Williams averaged 13.2 points per game so her elevation of play put the Sun on the brink of a championship. Congratulations on a job well done.
