The Bethune Maidens softball team saw their record evened at 5-5 after losing three times last week.
Bethune opened up the week at home last Tuesday against Fernandina Beach.
The game would be scoreless until the third inning when the Lady Pirates scored four times.
The Maidens answered back in the bottom of the third when Kylee Varnes doubled home Abby Crews and then came home on an error to cut the deficit to 4-2.
Fernandina added seven more runs to their total before Bethune scored again in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Abigail Padgett was hit by a pitch, stole second, advanced to third on a wild pitch before scoring on a single by Varnes to make the final, 11-3.
On Thursday, the Maidens would host Callahan and could never get anything going in the right direction as the Lady Ramblers took home a 15-0 win.
Bethune managed to get just two hits with Varnes and Charli Woolard both picking up one hit each.
Finally on Friday, the Maidens would host St. Marys Middle School. Bethune would strike first when Abby Crews stole home for a 1-0 lead.
But the Lady Bobcats would score three times in the top of the second to take the lead.
Bethune would cut the deficit to one when Andia Williams stole home to make the score 3-2.
It remained that way until the top of the sixth when St. Marys struck for four runs to take a 7-2 lead. In the bottom half, the Maidens would get an RBI groundout by Karlee Knowles to cut the lead to 7-3.
But the Lady Bobcats added two more runs in the seventh inning, and the Maidens could only get one run back in the bottom half on an RBI groundout by Varnes.
