The spring sports season is in full swing with high school and middle school baseball and softball beginning last week.

The NBA held it's All-Star Weekend with various contests on Saturday night before the game on Sunday. Buddy Hield of the Sacramento Kings nailed his final three point shot to edge the Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker in the Three-Point Contest. Then in the Slam Dunk Competition, Aaron Gordon of the Orlando Magic and Derrick Jones, Jr. of the Miami Heat both put on a classic performance. In the end it would be Jones winning in a controversial decision by the judges.
In the All-Star Game, Team LeBron edged Team Giannis, 157-155, as Kawhi Leonard won MVP honors by scoring 30 points.
In college hoops, fifth-ranked Louisville lost twice last week, first to Georgia Tech and then to Clemson. Elsewhere, eighth-ranked Florida State fell to seventh-ranked Duke, while tenth-ranked Seton Hall dropped decisions to Creighton and Providence.
