But Berrien opened the lead back up when they returned the kickoff back for a score to go up 28-14. But the Braves weren't finished yet, as Crews found Austin Ray for a 52 yard touchdown pass with 12 seconds left in the half to cut the lead to 28-20.
In the third quarter Berrien broke free for a long touchdown run and after the two point conversion led 36-20. Bethune would answer right back when Crews and Ray connected from seven yards out. Eli Hobbs ran in the two point conversion and the Berrien lead was now down to 36-28.
With just under eight minutes left in the game Crews scored on a one yard run, but the two point pass failed and the Braves still trailed 36-34.
