Three Charlton County Indian baseball players were recognized recently by the Georgia Dugout Club.
Senior Trevor Knowles was selected as a First Team All State catcher for Class A Public Schools.
Sophomore infielder Connor Nelson and freshman outfielder Wade Rodeffer were both Honorable Mention selections for the team.
Knowles led the Indians with a .468 batting average on 37 hits. He scored 21 runs, while driving in 27 more.
Nelson batted .330, while scoring 24 runs and driving home 26 more, and led the team with three home runs. He also won three games on the mound while posting a 2.46 ERA.
Rodeffer had an impressive freshman season for the Tribe, batting .349 and scoring a team-high 35 runs from his leadoff position. He also stole a team-high 28 bases and drove in 20 runs.
