While the 2019 Charlton County Indians didn’t have the year everyone would have liked this past season, several individuals were rewarded for their hard work and effort by being selected to the All Region 2-A Football team. The team was voted on by the head coaches in the region.
Senior and three-year starter on the offensive line, Grayson Carter was the lone Indian named to the first team. Carter was also a first team selection as a junior.
Named to the second team were senior wide receiver Seaquan Clark, sophomore offensive lineman Asad Akbar, and junior long snapper Braden Whittenburg.
Receiving votes and being named honorable mention were senior defensive back Zuryan Williams, junior defensive lineman Caleal Burroughs, senior linebacker Randy Nelson, junior linebacker Braden Whittenburg, and freshman running back Jaylen Lilley.
