The Bethune Middle School Braves remained undefeated last week after turning a close into a rout against St. Marys Middle School on Champ Bailey Field.

Trailing early on, the Braves would get a 50 yard touchdown run from Jamari Hamilton and he would add the two point conversion on a pass from Bryson Allbritton. Raheim Anderson added a 15 yard touchdown run as the Braves went into the half up, 14-8.

The second half was all Braves as Emari Williams ran for two long touchdown runs and Jeremy Smith returned a fumble for another score. Elias Williams added the two point play on a pass from Haze Johnson for the final score.

Defensively, Jamie Jackson had a big game and Anderson provided a key stop on fourth down that swung momentum in favor of the Braves.  Johnson added an interception for the Braves.

The Braves are now 4-0 on the season and will play Callahan Middle School on Tuesday at home.
