The Bethune Middle School Braves used some timely hitting and took advantage of wildness on the part of the St. Marys Middle School pitching staff to score 12 times in the top of the first inning and cruise to a 19-3 win.

Jude Shaw started the scoring with an RBI single, a wild pitch, and two bases-loaded walks scored two more runners. 

Tanner Murray drove in two runs with a single and Jorge Rivera scored another on a steal of home, making it 7-0. 

Two more errors scored three more runs before Cole Crawford wrapped-up the scoring with a double, driving in two runs for a 12-0 lead.

In the second inning, Jarvis Wright singled home Garrett Vickers, who would make his way around and eventually score on a steal of home, making the score 14-0.

St. Marys would get on the board in the bottom of the second with two runs, but the Braves responded with five runs in the top of the third inning.

Cameron Murray and Braddock Rodgers singled and Jacob Leugers was hit by a pitch to load the bases. 

Garrett Vickers singled to score one run while an error, and a passed ball, scored two more batters for a 19-2 advantage.

St. Marys would add a final run in the bottom of the third and the game would be halted due to the mercy rule.

Nine Braves batters would collect a hit with Garrett Vickers leading the way with two base hits. Ian Vickers and Haze Johnson combined to no-hit the Bobcats while allowing no earned runs and striking out seven batters.
