William Legette, born in Marion, SC on September 9, 1937, 82 years young of Folkston, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 29, 2020.  

He not only served our country in the Navy but re-enlisted in the Marines, and served during the Korean War.  He was an honorable veteran and loved life and Jesus as well.  

He was married to the love of his life, his wife of 25 years, Rhonda Legette.

He left behind his daughters, Tammy Ouellette, Tonya Thomas, and Tina Legette; his grandchildren, Kimberly Frost, Andrew Legette, Courtney Escalante, and Christopher Barker; his great-grandchildren, Jackson Frost, Harper Frost, and Brandon Thomas; his siblings, Marion (Beverly) Legette, of SC, Betty Waltrip, of Atlanta, Edith (Earl) Griffis, of Lake Butler, FL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Legette and Edith D. Legette; his siblings, Ruby Barfield, Violet Rials, Barbara Zweigle, Joe Legette, Chrisitne Kelly; grandsons, Zachery and Christopher.

There will be no service at his time. A day of celebration of Willie’s life will be held at a later date.
