Sharon Jernigan-Fullmore

Sharon Jernigan-Fullmore was born December 14, 1979 in Alma to William Jernigan and the late Betty Jernigan. She received her formal education in the St. Johns and Putnam County Public School Systems. Sharon accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. 

Sharon was a dedicated mother and had a great love for her husband, children , and family. Her interests were cooking, entertaining people with her stories, talking, laughing, and spending time with her family. She was a strong woman, a warrior that fought a good fight, and a great inspiration to so many. Sister Sharon will be remembered for her joking, radiant smile, caring and loving heart. 

On February 23, 2020 Sharon went home to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness while surrounded by her loving family and friends at Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jernigan.

Sharon was formerly married to Eric Jenkins, Sr. of Screven and to this union she gave birth to her beautiful children. After her marriage to Eric was dissolved, she met and was united in holy matrimony to Albert Fullmore, of Jesup. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and caring husband and father to her children, Albert Fullmore, of Jesup; three loving daughters, Jasmine (Dom) Smith, of Pittsburgh, PA; Shytianna (Travis) Jernigan, and Kenyatta Jenkins, of Jesup, and one son, Eric (A’lize) Jenkins Jr., of Jesup; one grandchild, Zech-ariah Jenkins; her father, William Jernigan; five sisters, Karla King, Rosa Jernigan, Maria (Charles) Brown, all of Folkston; Barbara (Marcellus) Lee, of Brunswick and Lakisha Jernigan, of Jesup; one brother, John (Ingram) Jernigan, of Folkston; one aunt, Mamie Jenkins, of Vila Rica, GA; her uncle, Tommy Bennett; her godchildren, Canaire Allen, Kalijah and Jalijah Pittman;  Special cousins/friends, Brenda Walthour, Shafonda Walker, Cynthia Bryant, and Kristy Pittman and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

A wake/visitation was held on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Royal Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services were held on Saturday February 29, 2020 at House of Faith Worship Center, Folkston. Interment was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Final arrangements entrusted to Royal Funeral Home, Inc., Jesup.
