Peggy Ann Lee Shuman, 71, of Folkston, passed away at her residence  August 4, 2019 following a battle with cancer. She was born December 22, 1947 in Waycross. She was a member of Camp Pinckney Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Stephanie Varnes; her parents, Calvin Leroy Lee and Mary Melinda Aldridge Lee; her adopted parents, Elmer Gibson Lee and Frances Lucille Allen Lee; sisters, Virginia Strickland, Nettie Graham, Frances Sheffield, and Betty Sheerer; brothers, L.J. Strickland and Harry Strickland. 

She is survived by six children, Donna (Lanier) Phillips, Ann (Ken) Taylor, Renea (Jeff) Windham, David McHale, Penny (David) Moore, and Blaise Todd; a sister, Frances (Larry) Haddock; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and one on the way. 

The family received friends Wednesday, August 7, at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston. Funeral services were held Thursday, August 8, at the Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church. Burial followed in Traders Hill Cemetery.
