Hershel Michael Harber

Hershel Michael Harber passed away from this life in the early morning hours of September 14, 2021. Hershel was born October 6, 1955 in Kermit, Texas to Ruben and Lavelle Harber.  He was a resident for most of his life in Jonesboro, Georgia, retiring after 39 years with Quad Graphics in Atlanta.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Lynn Harber; his mother; a brother; a brother-in-law; a stepdaughter; a daughter and a son. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Ruben Harber (1928-1976) and his mother-in-law, whom he grew to love and care for, teasingly nicknaming her his favorite Mama-in-law, Elizabeth C Gill (1926-2020) .

A private burial with Pastor Clayton McCormick officiating took place at Sardis Cemetery in Folkston.
