Frances Caroline Hodges Hinson

Frances Caroline Hodges Hinson, 90, moved from this temporary life into Glorious Eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 5, 2022. She was born on January 12, 1932 in Hilliard, FL, daughter of George and Eleanor Guinn Hodges.

Caroline was a lifelong resident of Hilliard, FL and member of Buford Grove Baptist Church. She was married to the love of her life, Marvin O. Hinson, Sr. for 60 years. Together, Marvin and Caroline raised six children in a wonderful, loving and Christian home. Her faith and family brought her the greatest blessings. Caroline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Caroline was predeceased by her husband, Marvin on March 31, 2007, her parents, her grandson, Rowland (Peanut) Haddock, Jr., and her siblings, Harry Guinn, Alline Bird, Carl Lane, Juanita Clark Tomlinson, Theodore Hodges, Harry Hodges, Jesse Hodges and James Hodges.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Annette (Tom) Sheehan, Robert (Darlene) Hinson, Lois (Ed) Rad, Marilyn Massey, Marvin Hinson, Jr. and Billy (Wendy) Hinson; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Dot Hodges; and numerous much loved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Caroline’s life was held Monday, May 9, 2022 at Buford Grove Baptist Church. Viewing was one hour prior to the service.
