Donna Sue Turner Chancey, 78, of Folkston, passed away at her home Sunday, October 6, 2019.  She was born July 11, 1941 in Jacksonville, FL to the late James Landis Turner and Evelyn Ira Maddox Turner.  

She was a 1959 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville.  She was the secretary for the Charlton County High School and Charlton County Board of Education for over 20 years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Folkston. She was a dedicated Florida Gator fan and member of the Florida Gator Booster Club and a member of the Jacksonville Ski Club.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Lott Chancey; a son-in-law, Michael Lett; and two sisters, Faye Powell and Florence MacKay.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Warren L. Chancey, Jr.; two daughters, Carla Lett and Leanne (Jim) Petty; two grandchildren, Jade Lett (Trevor) Olinto and Lindsey Petty (Ryan) Mantz; three great-grandchildren, Guiliana Olinto, Brady Mantz, and Laine Mantz. 

A celebration of life service was held Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Folkston with Rev. Ray McMillan officiating.
