Cornelia Ybeltje Duisdeiker-Hamilton, 80, of Jacksonville, made her transition from earth to Heaven, Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at her residence in Orange Park, FL surrounded by her loving family. Connie, as she was affectionately known by family and close friends was born February 21, 1939 in Makkum, Netherlands to the late, Saapke Rinia-Poepjes and Marinus Duisdeiker. On September 15, 2019, Connie reconfirmed her faith in God and was baptized by and received the Holy Communion from Elder Terrance Pender.
Connie loved to shop, especially with her shopaholic buddy Betty, at the outlets malls in St. Augustine and Orlando. There was never a sale too far for them to check out. She enjoyed collecting antiques and loved to travel, visiting countries in Europe, Asia and throughout the United States. Overall, Connie was a beautiful and classy lady who loved her husband and family unconditionally. She was preceded in death by both parents, Saapke Poepjes and Marinus Duisdeiker.
