Aaron Neal Griffin, age 39, entered the gates of heaven on March 24, 2021 at UF Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, after a brief illness.

Aaron was born on February 4th, 1982 in Waycross, GA to Larry Neal and Paulette Morgan Griffin. He graduated from Brantley County High School in 2000 and went on to complete a railroad technician certificate from Okefenokee Technical School.

Aaron was employed with CSX Railroad Transportation in Waycross Georgia as a machinist. He is the owner and operator of AG Cattle Company of Folkston. He served as Vice President of the Southeast Cattlemen’s Association.

Above all, Aaron had a strong faith and belief in God. He was washed by the blood of Jesus and baptized in the Christian faith on October 11, 1998 at Winokur Baptist Church. Aaron continued his walk with Christ by attending Sand Hill Baptist Church in Folkston.

At heart, Aaron was a true American cowboy.  Riding horses, tending cows, hog hunting, and farming was his way of life. Aaron passed on his love of rodeo to his son Ben. Their weekends were spent at rodeos where Ben rode as a member of the Eastcoast Rodeo Association.
