On July 17, a complainant stated he lost his .22 caliber handgun at Traders Hill River. The weapon has been entered into the Georgia Crime Information Center as such.
July 19, a complainant reported having three fraudulent credit card charges on her banking account. Information obtained and turned over to Investigations.
On the same day, a complainant reported multiple chainsaws and miscellaneous tools stolen from his residence. The case is currently under investigation. Also on July 19, CCSO received a call of a possible stolen boat and trailer in the woods in Saint George. Further investigation revealed it was stolen from Duval County, Florida. On July 21, a complainant reported a vehicle was taken from his workplace without permission by an employee. The investigation is ongoing.
The following arrests were made July 17, Troy Guynn, age 19, of Hilliard, Florida was arrested for Driving while License Suspended; Amanda Sutton, age 36, of Jacksonville, Florida was arrested for Driving while License Suspended and Improper Equipment; on July 19, Levar Atwater, age 42, of Folkston was arrested for Possession of Scheduled I/Scheduled II with Intent, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Tampering with Evidence and Obstruction/Hindering Law Enforcement Officer; Leon Taylor, age 45, of Folkston was arrested for Simple Battery, Simple Battery (Family Violence Act) and Criminal Trespass.
