Come and have a “Swamp-Venture” at Okefenokee’s end of summer program series. The Okefenokee “Swamp-Venture” Summer Programs are for youth ages six to ten and will be held on three Mondays in July from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

The dates of the programs are Monday, July 15, Monday, July 22, and Monday, July 29. Sign up for one day or all three, each event is FREE!

Each three-hour program will have a variety of activities and will engage the participants in archery, nature hikes, live animal and specimen presentations, educational games, and nature related crafts. Days will include both outdoor and indoor activities, with snacks and drinks available. Participants will learn about Okefenokee habitats, practice outdoor skills and Jr. Refuge Manager and Fishing Badges will be awarded for participation during the camp.
