Laura Finley, National Day of Prayer Charlton County Coordinator, would like to invite you to join with her for the 2022 National Day of Prayer.
Once again, thousands of National Day of Prayer Volunteer Coordinators will be leading tens of thousands of prayer gatherings across the nation, from Maine to the Pacific Islands, from sunrise until sunset, on Thursday, May 5.
Locally we will gather at the Charlton County Courthouse, Folkston, Ga at 11:30 a.m. Charlton County Commissioner Alphya Benefield will give the Scripture Interpretation and her Testimony and County Commissioner Jesse Crews will share his personal testimony how God has blessed him throughout his years in the Charlton County School System, Athletics and Public Service.
This year’s theme is ‘Exalt the Lord who has established us,’ which is inspired by Colossians 2:6-7, which says, “Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.”
Millions will gather in person and pray in their local communities and then join us at 8 p.m. ET for the National Day of Prayer Broadcast from the Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C. Pray.com has partnered with them this year, and they will reach out to more than 300 million homes throughout the world via broadcast partners at GodTV, Daystar, Salem, Bott, and Moody Radio networks and more – as well as on websites and social media platforms.
