Live Nativity held with  Star of Bethlehem

Monday, December 21, local churches and the Okefenokee Chamber of Commerce held a live nativity at Jesse Crews, Sr. Memorial Park. Hot chocolate was served as members of the nativity lead the crowd in the singing of Christmas carols. First Baptist Church pastor Randy Jacoby spoke about the meaning of Christmas as visitors looked at the Star of Bethlehem. Jacob Sands played guitar for Silent Night as another carol was sung by candlelight. Pastor Ray McMillan wrapped up the event with a closing prayer. Chamber Director Dana O’Quinn thanked everyone for attending and wished the visitors a Merry Christmas. Above, a group of
