“I am happy to hear that Charlton County has moved on to the next phase of the grant process,” said Sen. Harper. “The rehabilitation of Traders Hill is important for Charlton County and the surrounding area. I want to thank all those involved who got us this far and I will do all I can to ensure that we can secure this grant and any other funding opportunity to preserve the natural resources of District 7.”

The next phase of grant funding includes a formal application submitted to the National Park Service, who will then give final approval on the grants.
