The Folkston Police Department released the motor vehicle crash reports from October 8 through October 26.

October 8, a 2015 Ford F-250, driven by Richard Lewis Hannons, was parked on the grass, on the east side of Bethune Middle School, facing south.  The driver attempted to back north while turning the front of the vehicle to face west. The front passenger fender struck the light pole in the grass area.

October 12, vehicle #2, a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Johnny Alton Davis, was traveling west trying to exit the Sunoco gas station parking lot.  Vehicle #1, a 2002 Nissan Maxima, driven by Loretta Ann Thomas, started backing out and failed to yield to the Silverado.  The Maxima struck the Silverado in the driver’s side back door.

October 16, vehicle #1, a 2017 Chevy Cruze, was parked facing west in a parking space at the Folkston Park Nursing Home.  Vehcile #2, a 2013 Nissan Altima, was parked facing north, unoccupied behind the Cruze.  The driver of the Cruze, Whitney A. Taylor, began backing to the east, maneuvering the rear end to the north, to make the front face south.  The Cruze struck the Altima.

October 18, a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado began traveling east while it was unoccupied and struck the garage door at 117 Milton Street.

October 26, a 2005 GMC Envoy, driven by Kaleb Brandon Jordan, was traveling south on Henri Street.  The driver, Jordan, attempted to make a right turn into a driveway and struck a power pole.
