The Folkston Police Department recently released the following incident and accident reports. Incident reports are as follows:
On March 29, Officer James Murray, was called to the Dollar General at 4783 Second Street. Officer Murray observed, Michael Shawn Martini, shoplifting. Martini then pulled out a pack of sausage from his pants and multiple other food items valued at $16.28.
Martini was placed under arrest and while searching his person, methamphetamine, syringes, and a glass-smoking device was located in a black bag on his side. Martini was transported to the jail where he was interviewed and turned over to the jailor on duty. Warrants were secured in this matter. A criminal trespass warning was issued.
On March 30, Officer Jason Rifenbark, observed a 1999 Ford F-150 pickup traveling north on GA Hwy 4 at the hilltop area towing a trailer. The trailer had no tag displayed. Officer Rifenbark conducted a traffic stop and met Keith Harold Dansereau. Dansereau stated that he did not have a license and provided a Florida Identification Card. A check of Dansereau’s information through GCIC revealed that Dansereau’s driver’s license was suspended several times for failure to submit to a state test out of Nassau County. Dansereau was also wanted out of Nassau County for a probation violation. Dansereau was taken into custody and transported to the sheriff’s office where he was charged with the above charges and turned over to the jailor on duty. The vehicle was left at the Relax Inn, after Dansereau made arrangements for it to be picked up. This case is closed.
On April 4, Officer Krystal Harris, responded to a call regarding shoplifting at the Dollar General at 4783 Second Street, Folkston. The investigation resulted in Stephanie Diane Caudill, Christopher John David Wilkes and Christopher James Caudill being taken into custody for theft by shoplifting first offense. It was made known that Wilkes took a Snapple brand drink valued at $1.00, Caudill took a Clover Valley bag of sugar valued at $2.00. The total value of all items being $3.00. All were transported to the Charlton County Sheriff’s Office where they were interviewed and turned over to the jailor on duty. Wilkes and Caudill were charged with shoplifting less than $300.00 and all three were issued Criminal Trespass Warnings for both Dollar General locations in Folkston.
On April 6, Officer Michael Maddox was dispatched to GA Hwy. 4, to a vehicle crash. Upon arrival, both testimonial and visual evidence showed that Michael Lavon Bolden was driving a black Nissan Maxima at the time of the crash. It was also found that after the crash Bolden switched positions in the vehicle with Kelly Nicole Trezant. Both Bolden and Trezvant gave written statements advising that Trezvant was driving. Both Bolden and Trezvant were placed under arrest for false statements and writings. Warrants were secured on both Bolden and Trezvant for the above charges. Case is cleared by arrest.
On April 7, Officer Jeremy Dotson, was dispatched to GA Hwy. 4 in reference to a fight. Upon arriving, investigation showed that Kristen Nicole Lightsey and Allison Renee Lightsey were involved in a physical altercation in public view. Both were placed under arrest and transported to the Charlton County Jail where they were interviewed, issued citations for disorderly conduct and turned over to the jailer on duty. The case is closed by arrest.
