Clark, Maxwell sign with Albany State, Defiance University

Two Charlton County Indian seniors saw their hard work rewarded last Wednesday by signing letters of intent to play college football. Seaquon Clark, a wide receiver and defensive back for the Tribe, put his name on the dotted line to play at Albany State University. Clark was named to the All Region 2-A First Team as a junior and was selected to the second team as both a sophomore and a senior. For his career Clark caught 97 passes for 1304 yards and 12 touchdowns. Albany State is an NCAA Division II school that plays in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Marcell Maxwell only played one year of varsity football after transferring into the system as a junior. But it would be enough to get him noticed by Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio. Defiance is an NCAA Division III school that plays in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. In his senior season he registered 34 tackles and 0.5 quarterback sacks.
