The Charlton County 4-H Club has announced the exciting summer programs that will begin in the next few weeks. These are listed below:
A trip to Summer Waves will be June 4. The cost is $35.00. Parents and siblings are welcome to attend and take advantage of the discount ticket prices. Register by May 28.
June 11 will find the club members working on a Community Service project of replanting the Post Office. There is no charge and lunch will be provided.
Cloverleaf Camp at Camp Burton on Tybee Island is June 17-21. There are still spots available. The cost is $375.00. Register by May 31.
Junior 4-H Camp is the week of June 24-28 at the Jekyll Island 4-H Center. Spots are still available for seventh and eighth graders. The cost is $375, and you must register by May 28. Livestock Judging Camp is June 24-26 in Athens. The cost is $125.
An Art Class will be held June 28 from 1-5 p.m. Students will paint a picture to bring home. The cost is $20. Register by June 21.
Opening up the month of July is a trip for bowling and pizza, scheduled for July 9. Register by July 2.
Then it is time to exercise on July 18 with a Yoga and Healthy Living class. Register by July 11. The cost is $20.
The final trip before school will be the Okefenokee Swamp in Waycross. There, students will ride the train and take a boat tour. The cost is $20.
