Board of Education  takes Grab ‘N Go on the road

Beginning Monday, March 30 education faculty members will load on buses to deliver free meals to children. Meals will be delivered only three days per week Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Two snacks and two lunches will be distributed each day. Those wishing to receive the meals will need to visit the following sites:  St. George Area: Bus 46 – Site one: 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Firestation (Farly Burnsed Road); Site two: 11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Corner of Farm Road and Harvest Way; Site three 12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m. Moniac First Baptist Church Curbside Pick Up St. George Elementary School 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Folkston Area Bus 52: Site one: 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church; Site two: 11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Camp Pinckney Baptist Church; Site three: 12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m. Chapman-Mobley Park;  Site four: 12:30 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. Allen Avenue; Site five: 12:50 p.m. to 1:05 p.m. Old Bethune Elementary School – Bus 50: Site one: 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Racepond Fire Station; Site two: 11:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Winokur Fire Station; Site three: 12:15 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Corner of Quail Run and Newell Rd. – Bus 48: Site one: 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Homeland City Hall; Site two: 11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Mt. New Home Baptist Church; Site three: 12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m. Folkston Elementary School. Meals will not be delivered Spring Break, April 6-10. CDC guidelines with social distancing must be followed. Only children 18 and younger will qualify for free meals and must be present at pick-up. Pictured are those volunteering to pass out meals.
